Sakala provides video editing and other creative services based on client requirements. The scope, deliverables, pricing, and timelines of each project may vary depending on its complexity and the agreed specifications.

2. Booking and Project Requirements

Clients must provide accurate project details, reference materials, instructions, and necessary files to help us understand their requirements. Work may begin once the project scope, pricing, and other relevant details have been mutually agreed upon.

3. Pricing and Payments

Service charges will be communicated before work begins. Any advance payments, balance payments, additional charges, or applicable payment conditions will be agreed upon with the client. Additional requests beyond the original project scope may incur extra charges.

4. Revisions and Modifications

Revisions will be handled according to the terms agreed upon for each project. Significant changes to the original requirements, additional deliverables, or repeated modifications may require additional time and charges. Clients should communicate their feedback clearly to avoid misunderstandings.

5. Project Timelines and Delivery

Estimated delivery timelines depend on the project scope, complexity, availability of required materials, and client feedback. Delays in receiving files, instructions, approvals, or payments may affect delivery schedules. We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the agreed timeframe.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that all supplied videos, images, music, logos, and other materials are legally permitted for use. Clients must obtain any necessary permissions, licences, or consents for the materials they provide.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership and usage rights for final deliverables will be determined by the agreement between Sakala and the client. Third-party assets, including music, fonts, stock footage, and templates, remain subject to their respective licence terms. Sakala retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, and resources unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be communicated directly to Sakala. Refund eligibility, where applicable, will depend on the agreed project terms, work already completed, expenses incurred, and applicable law. Payments for completed work or non-refundable third-party expenses may not be refundable where legally permitted.

9. Acceptable Use

Clients must not use our services to create or distribute unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content. Sakala reserves the right to decline or discontinue work that violates applicable laws or these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sakala will make reasonable efforts to provide services according to the agreed requirements. However, to the extent permitted by law, Sakala will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Third-Party Services

Our website or workflow may involve third-party platforms for communication, file transfers, payments, or other functions. Their availability and use are subject to their respective terms and policies. Sakala is not responsible for interruptions or issues beyond its reasonable control.
